Faculty & Staff: Partner with the CAS

How does the CAS impact student success?

Explore five easy ways to collaborate with the Center for Academic Success to bolster your students’ learning and persistence.

  1. Request a class visit illustration

    Request a Class Visit

Instead of cancelling class, invite us to drop in and deliver practical study-skill sessions and information about support services—perfect for when you notice students struggling with exams or homework.

  2. Recommend students for Tutoring and SI illustration

Recommend Students for Tutoring & SI

You play a key role in identifying strong peer tutors and Supplemental Instruction Leaders. We rely on your recommendations to recruit resourceful students who ask thoughtful questions, model good study habits, and help others succeed.

    Send Students to the CAS

We track attendance and can officially sign off on study hours, tutoring visits, or one-on-one coaching—plus, you can assign our OnDemand workshops or encourage in-person sessions for bonus credit and hands-on practice.

  5. Early Alert illustration

    Submit an Early Alert

Use CSU’s Early Alert system in the DUCK to flag students who may need support. Whether they’re missing classes, struggling with grades, plagiarizing, or need writing help, our team and other campus departments will provide outreach for tutoring, coaching, or other resources.
