Toledo, OH – Lakers defeated George Mason University 66-20 to advance to the NCFA National Championship Game. QB’s Sir Hardaway lead the charge by completing passes to six different receivers for 192 yards and combine for 5 touchdowns. On the ground, the Lakers had a committee of running backs combine for 180 yards, in which RB Avon Finley lead the team with 58 yards on 7 carries.

The Lakers Orange Swarm defense started the game with a safety to take a 2-0 lead. The next procession, QB Sire Hardway ran for a 15-yard touchdown putting the Lakers up 8-0. After a defensive stop by the Lakers, WR Matthew Faulkner caught a 42-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 15-0. The Lakers kicked the back deep in George Mason territory which eventually led to another safety, giving the Lakers a 17-0 lead in the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter, QB Sire Hardway hit WR Pacer Kincaid on a 3-yard touchdown and WR Savion West on a 25-yard touchdown to put the Lakers up 31-6 at halftime. QB Sire Hardaway extended his hot streak by connecting with WR Clenton Rafe for a 4-yard passing touchdown to extend the lead to 38-6 at the beginning of the 3rd Quarter. In the 2nd half, the Lakers defense and special teams combine for 21 points, with interceptions for touchdowns by Jamarco Hughes and Savion West. Savion West also had a 75-yard kickoff return for a touchdown to help the Lakers advance to the National Championship.

CSU's Orange swarm forced 3 turnovers limiting the George Mason University offense to just 129 total yards. Defensively, the Lakers were led by Ken’won Felton with 8 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, and a block field goal. Savion West had an outstanding day with a 75-yard kickoff return for touchdown, 77-yard field goal block for touchdown, 17 yard interception for touchdown, 25 yard receiving touchdown, an extra PAT block, and was 7 for 10 on extra points attempts. CB Jamarco added 6 tackles and 1 interception for a 23 touchdown.

The Lakers advance to the NCFA National Championship vs Ohio State on December 7 in Waynesburg, PA. Game Time is set for 1 p.m. and the game will be live streamed starting at 12:30 p.m. EST on CollClubSports.TV.
