Clayton State University named 2021 AJC Top Workplace

(March 22, 2021) - Clayton State University moved up to be ranked among the top 20 large companies recognized as one of the best places to work in Atlanta. Clayton State moved up 5 spaces to no. 17 for the Large Company category on the Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s 2020 Top Workplaces Awards list.

The university was also the only higher education institution in the Top Workplaces list. This is the ninth year the institution has been ranked.

“We are very proud to be recognized with another Top Workplace award from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution,” said Rodney Byrd, director of Human Resources at Clayton State. “This recognition is a testament to the quality of our faculty and staff, our culture, and our commitment to our students and community.”

More than 3,000 businesses in the metro Atlanta area were nominated or asked to participate in the awards program. From that list, 55,253 employees in metro Atlanta were surveyed to narrow to the final 175 companies that merited recognition as a Top Workplaces based on employee responses.
