Update: Winter Weather Campus Operations

(January 9, 2025) - Due to the forecasted winter weather conditions and the safety of our campus community, Clayton State University will implement a telework schedule on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 8am-12pm.

We will be hosting a virtual One Stop Shop from 9am-6pm to assist students with registration, financial aid, admissions support, and more.

Classes that are scheduled to meet in person on Saturday, January 11, 2025, will be held virtually. Please continue to check your student email and D2L for additional information from your instructor.

Please be advised that:

  • All in-person, on campus, events and activities will be canceled for Friday and Saturday.
  • Essential staff will be notified directly if their presence is required on campus.
  • Virtual One-Stop-Shop support will be available for students; each department chat may be accessed below
  • The Health & Wellness Center will be available on Friday from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.for telehealth and virtual counseling services. To access these services, students, faculty or staff should call the main number at (678) 466-4940. Phones will be monitored, and messages will be returned.
    • The Center at Laker Village will not be open. As always, after hour crisis counseling services will be available all weekend and may be accessed by following the appropriate prompts using the main telephone number.
  • To remain safe during the anticipated winter weather conditions, students are encouraged to move into the residence halls on Sunday between 2pm-5pm; however, each residence hall will remain open and staffed as normal.
  • The Student Activities Center (SAC) will remain open.
  • Public Safety will remain available, and can be contacted anytime at 678-466-4050
