Students receiving health care services will not be charged. These services are covered by the student health fee.
Available Services
Clayton State University provides students with high-quality medical and behavioral/mental health care delivered by Atrium Health. These confidential services are co-located on campus at Laker Village, 5809 N. Lake Drive, Building 1000.
Our integrated care model addresses both physical and mental well-being, helping students reach their full potential.
Appointments can be made 24/7 with online scheduling or by calling the Health & Wellness Center at (678) 466-4940. Both in-person and video visits are available. Video visits are a great option if you live off campus or you’re too sick for an in-person visit.
Health Clinic Services
- Sick visits for colds, flu, COVID-19, allergies, sinus infections, urinary tract infections and more
- Injury care for minor cuts, burns, sprains, strains and more
- Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and pregnancy

Care Team
The health clinic is staffed by an advanced practice provider (physician assistant or nurse practitioner), registered nurse and outreach coordinator. The care team can collaborate with your primary care physician and/or specialists as needed to help you achieve your best possible health outcomes. A consulting psychiatrist is available to the clinic provider for specialized treatment and medication recommendations.
Licensed behavioral health professionals provide counseling services, crisis intervention and referrals to other services as needed. Behavioral health coaches are bachelor-level with their health coaching certification.

The Health & Wellness Center at Clayton State University is a safe space for students to come, learn and get help. Services are always private and confidential.
