- Alzheimer's Service Center and the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge – volunteering with residents and reflecting on the impacts of disease on health
- American Red Cross – receiving training for disaster response and raising awareness regarding disaster preparedness while learning about the possibilities a career in biology offers
- ME Stillwell School of the Arts – teaching fledgling scientists about laboratory techniques
- W.H. Reynolds Nature Preserve – clearing trails and hosting informational programs while learning about the delicate ecological balance
Communications classes
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, Fayette County Sheriffs Office, Wow In-Sync, BK International Education Consultancy – planning, filming, and producing videos and other digital media to support outreach, education, and public relations efforts
- Clayton County Library System, Clayton State University Theatre, Henry Council for Quality Growth, Praphetic Productions- drafting public relations materials, advertising materials, and creating public relations campaigns

- Communities in Schools of Henry County and Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Ga – supporting educational and fundraising efforts through direct volunteerism
- CSU Department of Campus Life – supported, organized, and presented at the annual Diversity and Leadership conference, providing important information to Clayton State students and visitors
- Garden Fresh Organics/Kenyatta's Farmer's Market – raising awareness regarding the need for healthy food choices, supporting communities without direct access to healthy food, assisting with urban farming and meal distribution
- Mommies without Mommies – researching best practices and identifying potential funding sources for programs supporting motherless mothers

- Canine CellMates – creating a resource manual for inmates who are transitioning back into society
- House of Dawn, Inc. - developed an affordable housing resource guide for program participants to aid them in their effort to secure permanent housing
