Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities
The Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Program (URCA) at Clayton State University provides funding in order to advance the university’s mission to create an outstanding educational experience that stimulates intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and innovation. This funding provides undergraduate students the opportunity to engage in research projects and other creative activities under the personal supervision of CSU’s outstanding faculty scholars. The call for proposals is issued early in the fall semester, and funds are disbursed for use during spring and summer semesters.
Funds may be used for any or all of the following:
- Supplies/materials to support the project/activity
- Supplemental income to support faculty research/creative activity mentors
- Travel expenses and registration fees for faculty member and/or student
- Undergraduate student funding
