What is the HUB?
The HUB is the high performance front-line help desk providing support to the CSU community.1
Service Counter
The Service Counter is located on the first floor of the University Center and provides service to students, faculty, and staff.
The Service Counter provides the following services:
- Hardware repair/replacement2
- Software/Operating System troubleshooting
- Email issues
- Virus/malware removal
The Technology Center
This location is on the first floor of the Library in L-125, and is available to all currently enrolled students.
Technology Center provides the following services:
- Software and Operating System installations
- Software/Operating System troubleshooting
- Instructional assistance with school related software.
- Scanner available for student use.
The following licensed software is available to currently enrolled students and included in the technology fee:
- Microsoft Office for Windows (currently installing Office 365 via Microsoft's Software Portal)
- Microsoft Office for Mac (currently installing Office for Mac 2011 via Microsoft's Software Portal)
- Microsoft Windows 7 Professional
- SmartPrint
The HUB will also assist students with installing:
- Course specific software
- Freeware utilities/software

The HUB supports and installs software on one laptop only. For a full description of services provided by the HUB, please see our Service Level Guidelines.
