SAT, ACT scores no longer required for Clayton State University 2020 summer and fall admissions

(March 26, 2020) - Clayton State University is waiving the SAT and ACT score for first-year students with a sufficiently high GPA who are admitted for the summer and fall 2020 semesters. The move was prompted by the impact of COVID-19 and was authorized by the University System of Georgia.

The College Board, the not-for-profit organization that administers the SAT, recently announced it was suspending all upcoming testing dates.

“Our goal is to support individuals considering Clayton State University for summer and fall admissions. During this time prospective students do not need to be worried about an extra layer to the admission’s application,” said Dr. Stephen Schultheis, vice-president for Enrollment Management and Student Success. “We’re going to be evaluating applicants on their GPA’s and supporting admitted students throughout the enrollment process.  We are here for them and eager to support their goals of attaining a college degree.”

The application deadline for summer enrollment at Clayton State is April 15. For fall enrollment, the deadline is July 15. Prospective students that seek enrollment assistance can visit undergraduate admissions website.
