Pre-Law Advising
Welcome to the Pre-Law Advising website. This page contains resources that you might find helpful as you prepare for the law school application process.
We have provided a list of frequently asked questions and links to numerous resources that will be useful in areas such as writing skills, legal organizations and associations, test preparation, financing your education, and law schools in Georgia.
Students who decide to attend law school come from varied backgrounds. You may not have considered law school before, or you may have been on the path to that goal for some time. As you formulate plans for your future career and professional development, we hope this website will aid you with practical advice. Regardless of your major, you might also be interested in pursuing a Minor in Pre-Law at Clayton State. While our Minor in Pre-Law is not a preparatory program for law school and does not guarantee admission to law school, the array of courses it offers will give you a better understanding of basic legal principles and will help you to hone your critical thinking and writing skills. Sometimes, the best recommendation for such a career choice comes from your peers. Please check out student perspectives from graduates who have attended law school.
