Professional Development Committee
The Professional Development Committee seeks to advocate for all Clayton State University staff members to advance their skillsets in their fields and have financial resources to support it.
Professional Development Committee Focus
- Discuss and approve professional development requests
- Discuss best practices and suggestions for professional development
- Partner with the HR Employee Engagement Committee on any events being organized or events staff may have
- Notify staff of professional development opportunities
- Advising the University President of professional development needs
Professional Development Committee Reporting Goals
- Ensuring continual training of all Clayton State University staff
- Provide equal opportunities for growth within a given field
- Assist CSU staff with funding professional development opportunities
