Writers' Studio Faculty Resources
Faculty recommendations can make a noticeable difference in a student’s awareness of The Writers’ Studio. That is why The Writers' Studio provides virtual and in-person engagement resources for faculty.
English Language Learners Syllabus Statement* (Pilot Program)
If you wish to participate in the Creating Community study’s ELL Advisory Board and
assist with piloting a syllabus statement aimed at increasing awareness for ELL and
multilingual students of writing resources at CSU, please contact Dr. Greene at CanticeGreene@clayton.edu.
In-Person Class Visits
Faculty teaching in-person classes may request an in-person class visit by our writing
consultants. Our team will run a PowerPoint presentation of the writing resources
available at The Writers’ Studio. To request an in-person visit, please email us at
writers@clayton.edu.
Virtual Class Visits
For faculty teaching synchronous online courses, our consultants can “drop by” and
run a 15-minute virtual presentation of the writing resources available at The Writers’
Studio. To request a virtual class visit, please email us at writers@clayton.edu.
Write-Right and Write-Away Writing Workshops
In the fall and spring semesters, The Writers’ Studio offers both in-person and virtual
faculty-led workshops as part of our Write-Right Workshop Series and consultant-led
workshops as part of our Write-Away Workshop Series. Topics range from mechanics and
punctuation to rhetorical strategies to style. Please visit our workshops page to
find more about our workshops.
