The Loch Shop also offers Bookstore Bucks at the beginning of each semester. Bookstore Bucks allow you to take advantage of unused Financial Aid to get what you need before receiving your Financial Aid Refund. Bookstore Bucks are available for in-store and online purchases. You will need a LakerCard to complete your purchase.
To authorize use of your Financial Aid for Bookstore Bucks, log into the DUCK and follow the prompts to authorize Bookstore Bucks. View more information about Bookstore Bucks.
Bookstore Bucks can be used for:
- Course materials
- MARTA passes
- Meal plans
- Anything the Loch Shop and Loch's Nest sells
Request Additional Bookstore Bucks
Do you need additional Bookstore Bucks from your pre-approved Financial Aid? If so, you can have up to $1,000 of additional Bookstore Bucks moved to your LakerCard to purchase a laptop or anything else you might need from the Loch Shop.
Submit your request during the Bookstore Bucks dates.
*Note: You must have pre-approved aid available on your student account. This is NOT an application for additional aid to be awarded. You must also have authorized the
use of Financial Aid for Bookstore Bucks (see Bookstore Bucks section above). Authorization
and transfer of laptop funds takes about an hour, and you can check the status of
your approval online. Details for submitting your request and monitoring the status
are available on the Additional Bookstore Bucks Request page.
