  • The Smith Awards are presented annually to the most outstanding faculty and staff members, who are nominated by their peers. The selection committee chooses five finalists and, based on the recommendations from the University community, selects the most deserving finalist as the award recipient. Facilities Management is extremely appreciative and proud of the department staff.

  • Facilities Management is working with an editor of APPA Facilities magazine to publish an article on LED Lighting recently designed and implemented by the Clayton State University Building Operations in-house crew at the Athletics Center.

  • The Arbor Day Foundation has honored Clayton State University with Tree Campus USA® recognition 10 years running for its commitment to effective urban forest management. Tree Campus USA program is created to sustain healthy community forests and engage students and community to take active role in caring for the trees.
