Coca-Cola Scholars Program
Coca-Cola is helping Clayton State University make dreams real for some deserving students. The Coca-Cola Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the beverage giant, has given support to first-generation students. The funds targets students who are high achievers and demonstrate a financial need. First-generation is defined as “neither of your biological parents/guardians received a four-year college degree". The First-Generation Students Coca-Cola scholarship is an opportunity only available to Clayton State students.
What are the benefits of being a Coca-Cola Scholar at Clayton State University?
- $5,000 per year intended to cover tuition and fees (awarded over 2 semesters Fall/Spring)
What does it take to be a Coca-Cola Scholar?
To be considered for the competitive Coca-Cola Scholarship award, students must:
- Be a current or admitted student at Clayton State University
- Submit completed application
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
- Completed FAFSA
- Willingness to attend and partake in specific scholarship events throughout the year
- Engage with assigned cohort for the duration of the awarded program.
Eligibility qualifications include:
- Have an overall high school grade point average of at least 3.0 for incoming Freshmen
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above for transferring students.
- Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate degree seeking student
- First Generation student
