Clayton State University has assembled a strong team of administrative and academic officers to lead the institution. A perusal of the Organizational Charts for the President's Cabinet and Academic Affairs as well as the Table of Qualified Administrators/Academic Officers supports the assertion that these individuals have the credentials and expertise to lead the University (further documentation in the form of curriculum vitae/resumes is provided below). Clayton State follows the hiring guidelines set forth by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia and federal laws when defining the positions of its administrative and academic officers. Administrative and academic officers have been recruited, selected, and hired based on human resources policies of the Institution. These policies include the following:
