Professional Licensure Disclosures

Each U.S. state and territory defines its own requirements for licensing and certification in professional fields. Clayton State University has determined that the curriculum in its educational programs that require licensure meets the state of Georgia educational requirements for licensure or certification.

Prior to enrolling in an educational program that requires licensure, students should contact the program coordinator or department chair (see table below) to determine if the academic program curriculum satisfies a particular state's licensure requirements if you intend to practice outside of the state of Georgia. Students interested in a professional licensure or certification are also encouraged to contact the state's licensing board regarding its requirements for professional practice prior to enrolling in an educational program.
