Being a LOL isn’t just a role—it’s an adventure! As a leader, you’ll:

• Hone your ability to lead, communicate, and problem-solve in a dynamic environment.
• Play a key role in helping new students and their families transition into the CSU community.
• Work closely with university staff, faculty, and peers, forming lasting relationships and networks.
• Gain valuable experience that sets you apart in job and graduate school applications.

• Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA.
• Be a currently enrolled CSU student in good academic and judicial standing.
• Demonstrate responsibility, professionalism, and a desire to help others succeed.
• Be available for mandatory training, orientation programs, and Convocation weekend events.
• Passion for leadership and commitment to supporting others.
• Campus involvement, teamwork experience, or leadership roles.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for being a role model.

As an LOL, you’ll take center stage during:

• New Student Orientation Programs: Welcome and guide students as they start their college journey.
• Convocation Weekend: Help organize and run events that kick off the academic year with energy and excitement.
• Ongoing Support: Maintain weekly office hours to assist with planning and follow-up tasks.
