Honors Program
Much of the work we do here at Clayton State University is to develop the next-generation of leaders who will be successful in their careers and make a great impact in their communities. If you seek to distinguish yourself through research-based coursework and leadership opportunities, apply to be a part of the University’s Honors Program.
The Honors Program is open to incoming freshman and currently-enrolled students who wish to undertake rigorous academic coursework that develops analytical, research, and writing skills. Students engage in robust open discussion, analysis, and research in small class sizes.
Research opportunities are varied and can include funded study abroad. Campus and community service allows students to hold leadership positions in a number of organizations such as the Honors Student Association, as well as work alongside locally elected leaders and state lawmakers.
Honors students are also eligible for early registration, an Honors diploma seal, and recognition at commencement.
The mix of personalized attention, interactive teaching, and dedicated faculty puts Honors students on the fast-track toward realizing their dreams.
