Submit official transcript

Applicants must submit official transcripts from all previously and currently attended colleges, including courses in progress. 

If you are currently in college,  submit an official transcript showing your current courses and later provide a final transcript once final grades are assigned.

Official transcripts must include the institution’s seal and be submitted in one of the following ways:  

1. In-Person or By Mail - Deliver or mail your transcript in an unopened, official envelope to:  
      Office of Undergraduate Admissions

      Morrow, GA 30260-0285  
2. Electronically - Use an approved provider (eSCRIP, Clearinghouse, Parchment, or GaFutures) to send your transcript. Alternatively, you can request  your school to email it directly to: transcripts@clayton.edu. 

Transfer credit is normally accepted for college work earned at regionally accredited colleges and universities, provided the courses are comparable to the Clayton State University curriculum. A minimum grade of C or better will be accepted for transfer credit (D’s are accepted in some majors and for some lower division courses, please contact the school or college that you are interested in pursuing for more information).

An evaluation of your credit will be sent to you by the Registrar’s Office after you have been admitted. If you have questions regarding your transfer evaluation, please call the Registrar’s Office at (678) 466-4145.

NOTE: Students attending community colleges must have completed all of their learning support courses.

REQUIREMENTS

If you're an international student applying to Clayton State University, follow these guidelines.

All international academic documents (transcripts, mark sheets, certificates, etc.):

• Must be in English.  If not in English, provide certified translations along with the original transcripts in the native language.  
•  Must be evaluated by an accredited service, such as

  • World Education Services
  • Other evaluation services accredited by NACES
• Must be formatted as follows:
    - High School Transcripts: Document-by-document evaluation with GPA (required for test-optional eligibility).  
    - College/University Transcripts: Course-by-course evaluation.
