About the Writers' Studio

The Writers’ Studio is a collaborative space where writers can receive assistance and feedback with written projects. The Studio aims to help students become better writers through a variety of services, including: 1) face-to-face consultations, 2) email-based consultations, 3) online chat consultations, and 4) workshops.

The Studio strives to support writing-intensive courses, curricular programs, and individual writers at Clayton’s Main, Clayton State East, Fayette, and Henry campuses. In line with the expectations of the College of Arts and Sciences, the Studio aims to continue improving society by helping students critically engage and communicate with meaning and relevance to diverse academic and professional contexts and audiences.

Our team of consultants is comprised of experienced students whose collective passion is to support fellow students in their writing endeavors. Instead of simple editing, consultants give writers constructive criticism and in-depth feedback to help writers develop techniques and strategies for future use.
