Our faculty bring real-world industry experience and knowledge into the classroom creating a collaborative learning environment.

The MBA is a fast-track program. The General Business Concentration can be completed in as little as 12 months. The program may take longer for other concentrations, and completion time also depends on the number of credits taken per semester.

Your time is already at a premium, so our eight-week sessions enable quick progress. Small classes and personalized feedback by our accomplished faculty provide the needed support for you to be successful as you balance work and study.

The rigorous 33-credit-hour program is designed to:

  • Prepare graduates to operate successfully and lead organizations in a business environment that is global and rapidly changing
  • Prepare students for professional management careers by increasing their communication skills, broadening their appreciation of diverse cultures, improving their decision making, and reinforcing their ability to apply knowledge and skills in problem solving
  • Produce graduates who will develop a better understanding of the importance of ethical business behavior and corporate social responsibility

Convenient Delivery Format

Classes generally meet one night per week during fall, spring and summer terms. Courses are taught in 8-week sessions with five different start dates, offering students maximum flexibility to start the program. Online course components are incorporated into the program to strengthen students’ technology skills and to help them use their time effectively.

The General Business Concentration can be completed in as little as 12 months when started in the first term of Fall Semester or first term of Spring Semester as follows: 12 credits Fall Semester and 12 credits Spring Semester plus 9 credits Summer Semester. Currently, in the Fall and Spring semesters, on-campus classes will generally meet one day per week from 6:00 –10:15 p.m. MBA students take at least two classes each semester (meets the minimum financial aid requirement).

In the Summer semester, classes at the main campus are scheduled on most Tuesdays/Thursdays or Mondays/Wednesdays in June and July from 6:00 p.m. to 9:35 p.m.

The program is offered in a unique structure that meets the full-time program of study requirement for financial aid (two classes/six credit hours per semester), while allowing maximum time during the traditional academic week for study and preparation.

International students on an I-20 will be required to take nine credit hours per semester to meet immigration requirements.

We accept incoming students in the Fall (August and October), Spring (January and March), and Summer (May) of each year, depending on demand.

The total cost (assuming in-state tuition), excluding textbooks and study abroad trip fees, is around $17,000. For in-state tuition, each credit hour is $335. Students normally register for six credit hours (*$2,747) per semester.

We welcome applicants from every discipline. We have students who majored in art, biology, criminal justice, nursing, psychology, and sports management among others. All applicants will be required to take the two foundation courses their first semester.

We welcome international applicants to our MBA Program. The majority of the information for the program is the same for any applicant; however, international applicants should pay close attention to the MBA for International Students link on the navigation column above as well as this link to information for international students from the School of Graduate Studies website.

No, we can use your academic record in the DUCK. If you transferred classes into CSU, then we will need one official copy of your transcript from every school you attended for undergraduate and graduate credit.

The date varies by term. However, you should begin the Graduate Admissions application process as soon as possible. Enrollment in the MBA program is limited each term. Please see the application link from the navigation column for the actual dates.

Please contact the Financial Aid office to see what financial aid might be available. Many of our current MBA students receive financial aid assistance in the form of student loans or use their employer's tuition assistance benefits.

Graduate assistantships are available in the College of Business. The assistantships offer students a reduction in tuition rather than a stipend or salary. Acceptance is competitive due to the limited number of positions. Candidates must commit to a minimum one-year term and up to 19.5 hours per week.
