The Laker Hall project accommodated the University with:
- 18 resident advisor units (1 bedroom / 1 bath)
- 104 typical (4 bedroom / 2 bath) units
- 12 HC typical (4 bedroom / 2 bath) units
- 1 HC Resident Manager (2 bedroom / 2 bath) unit
It provides total number of 451 beds. Laker Hall is the largest building on campus that comprises 178,000 square feet of residential space. Its amenities include gigabit Ethernet service, VOIP telephone service, card entry into both building and individual suites, and 60 security cameras.
CSU is committed to the value of residence life experiences as an important part of its academic mission. These experiences will provide students opportunities for learning not usually available in the classroom. Students who reside in residence halls tend to develop skills in a variety of areas including interpersonal leadership skills. In addition, this project will enhance student life.
