Georgia College Completion Grant
Description
The Georgia College Completion Grant (GCCG) Program provides grant aid to assist eligible students who are within at least 80% of credit requirements of their undergraduate degree and have an outstanding balance of current term direct charges such as tuition, fees, housing, and meals. The charges or fines incurred due to actions by a student such as parking tickets, library fines, or late fees are not considered direct charges for the purpose of this grant.
*Please note that at any time prior to/or during the semester if a student who has been awarded receives additional financial aid funds, the Georgia College Completion Grant will have to be reduced or cancelled. Students may NOT receive a refund for these funds.
Process
Students do not need to apply for this fund. The Office of Financial Aid will automatically award eligible students. Funding for this program is limited and will be awarded until all funds are exhausted.
Amount
Eligible students may receive the Georgia College Completion Grant award of up to $2,500 (lifetime amount). Funds may only be applied to direct charges owed the University for the term of the award. GCCG funds cannot be used for study abroad or student exchange programs.
