Compliance Narrative
Clayton State University has ensured that each major, minor, or concentration in every degree program has an academically qualified faculty member assigned as Program Coordinator. These coordinators have been appointed by their department chairs and/or deans to exercise responsibilities in the areas of program coordination and curriculum oversight. The University is fortunate to have identified dedicated and talented faculty in the appropriate disciplines to provide leadership for each program and curriculum.
The qualifications for all program coordinators are documented below, including descriptions of their responsibilities, degrees, experience, certifications, and courses taught at Clayton State University. The table below lists the program coordinators for each undergraduate and graduate program and their qualifications. In the Professional Qualification statements that follow, the department chairs and deans have provided brief narrative statements in response to the following questions:
- What evidence exists that the coordinator has the qualifications and credentials for leadership in the development and review of the curriculum?
- What evidence exists that the coordinator provides oversight for assessing the quality of the curriculum for the program and for ensuring that the curriculum and its delivery is educationally sound?
