Serves

Staff Council serves the employees of Clayton State by offering professional development activities, scholarship opportunities, and a forum through which to voice concerns

Performs

Staff Council performs by acting as an advocate for all members of the Clayton state staff. Monthly meetings provide a forum through which to discuss concerns and receive information.

Supports

Staff Council supports the Clayton state staff through three standing committees: Elections, Professional Development, and Smith Awards.

The purpose of Staff Council is:

To participates in the process of university governance by acting in an advisory capacity to the University President.
To represent all members of the Clayton State staff
To facilitate communication throughout the University
