  1. Find Your Student Type

    Dual Enrollment

    Qualified high school students can begin working toward their college degree, while also earning high school credit through the Dual Enrollment Program.

    Freshman are students who have never attended college or who have fewer than 30 college credits, which can include International students.

  2. Submit Online Application

    New Students

    Complete a new student application if you are an undergraduate student who has never attended Clayton State. Former Move On When Ready and Dual Enrollment students should also submit a new student application.

    To apply online, you will first need to create a GA Futures account.  For more information about the $40 nonrefundable application fee and remaining supporting forms and documents, refer to the admissions requirements for your student type.

    Returning/Readmit Students

    Students who have previously attended Clayton State as an undergraduate student and who wish to return as an undergraduate should submit the application below for reentry.

    *If you are a graduate student applying for readmission to the Graduate Studies program, you must complete a Graduate Studies readmission form.

  3. Request Official Transcripts (College or High School)

    Transcript Submission

    Transcripts must be sent directly from the sending institutions to Clayton State University.

    International credentials must submit all official transcripts from your high school and/or all post-secondary records. All transcripts must be in English; if not in English, they must be translated by a certified company. Please submit the certified translations along with your original official transcripts in the indigenous language.

  4. Submit Official ACT/SAT Scores (if applicable)

    Test Scores

    If you are applying as an incoming freshman, you must submit official SAT/ACT test scores.

    If you are applying as a transfer student, you must have 30 or more transferable hours to not require the SAT/ACT. We will determine upon receiving your official transcripts and evaluation (if applicable). Should you not have 30 or more transferable hours, you must submit official SAT/ACT test scores.

    Submitting Official Test Scores

    When requesting scores, use Clayton State University's College Board code #5145 for the SAT test. Use Clayton State University's ACT code #0803 for the ACT test.

    Official test scores must arrive directly from the testing source. No photocopies, faxes, scans or email attachments are accepted.
