Association of Writers and Writing Programs

The Association of Writers and Writing Programs provides support, advocacy, resources, and community to nearly 50,000 writers, 550 college and university creative writing programs, and 150 writers’ conferences and centers. Our mission is to foster literary achievement, advance the art of writing as essential to a good education, and serve the makers, teachers, students, and readers of contemporary writing.

Sigma Delta Tau

Sigma Delta Tau has a mission of transforming the world through words. The Society strives to confer distinction for high achievement in English language and literature in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies; and provide, through its local chapters, cultural stimulation on college campuses and promote interest in literature and the English language in surrounding communities.
