State Scholarships & Grants

Clayton State University offers a generous number of state grants and scholarships that are available to the enrolled students. We do not guarantee acceptance nor award amounts, but we offer a list of the grants and scholarships and remind students to apply before the deadlines. The following grants and scholarships are available: Zell Miller Scholarship, HOPE Scholarship, GNG Service Cancelable Loan, Georgia HERO Scholarship, District of Columbia Tuition Assistance Grant, and the Public Safety Memorial Grant.

Federal Grants

Federal Grants

We know that college is a commitment, but it is also an investment. What better way to offset  the financial obligation than with a grant? A federal grant doesn't have to be repaid if you meet the qualifications. There are many federal grants offered at Clayton State University that may meet your needs. Be sure to apply before the deadline and while there are no guarantees, why not give yourself a chance receive the grant money!

The type of federal grants available are Pell Grants, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants (FSEOG), Teacher Education Assistance for College, and Higher Education Opportunity Grants (TEACH) Grants.

Loans

The financial aid office strives to assist students and families with navigating the entire financial aid process. Whether it comes to applying for federal or state aid, private loans or scholarships, the financial aid team is committed to being here as your number one resource to help you finance your education. The type of federal loans available are Federal Direct Subsidized Loans, Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans, Federal Parent PLUS Loans, Federal Graduate PLUS Loans, and the Georgia Student Access Loan (SAL).
