1. Plan Ahead: Know your goals and gather everything you need early—deadlines, requirements, and potential majors.
2. Connect with Us: We love meeting future Lakers! Schedule a visit, engage with faculty and students, or join events like Homecoming to share your story or envision life as a Laker. Stay connected by joining our mailing list for exclusive invites and updates!
3. Understand Requirements: Admissions requirements vary by student type, so review them carefully to complete your file.
4. Gather Materials Early: Request transcripts, prepare for tests, and allow time for delivery to avoid delays.  Some of these tasks can take two weeks or more.
5. Stay Organized: Track your documents, save login info securely, and keep your contact details up to date. 
6. Ask for Help: You do not have to wait until you get stuck or confused before you contact us. We’re here to guide you—reach out anytime you need assistance. 
7. Submit and Complete: Pay your fee, submit your application, and check the application portal to track your progress.

1. Admission Requirements - Find your student type to review what's required to complete your application.
2. Application - Submit an online application.
3. Fee/Waiver - Pay the $40 non-refundable application fee or provide a fee waiver .
4. Transcripts - After you graduate, ask your high school/college to send us your official transcripts in-person, by mail, or electronically.
5. Test Scores - Submit your official test scores, if applicable.
6. Check Your Status - Log in to review your application status and submit missing documents.
7. Decision - Review your decision and decide whether you wish to move forward with enrollment.
   1. Accept Decision - Secure your spot by registering for New Student Orientation
   2. Appeal  Decision - Explore our Appeal Policy to learn more about your options.
   3. Withdraw Application - If plans change, withdraw your application easily.
   4. Attend Later - Need to start later? Update your application to a future term.
